Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suspects At Large After Armed Robbery Of Domino's Deliveryman In Nassau County Two suspects are at large after an armed robbery of a pizza deliveryman near a Long Island intersection. It happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 in Farmingdale. A 60-year-old man who was delivering food for Domino's Pizza was making a delivery in the vicinity of Oak Street and Cinque Drive when he was approached by two unknown males, according to Nassau County Police. One of the suspects grabbed the victim, pressed a handgun into his back and demanded cash, said police. Man Killed After Being Struck By Bus On I-95, CT State Police Say Police are investigating a fatal crash on a stretch of I-95 in Connecticut. It happened around 8:20 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 in New London County, on the northbound side near Exit 89 in the Town of Groton. A bus was traveling in the right lane of two lanes when it struck a pedestrian, according to Connecticut State Police. Emergency Responders arrived on the scene and transported pedestrian to a nearby hospital hospital in New London, where he succumbed to his injuries. Alert Issued For Missing Hampshire County Man Whose Rented Vehicle Was Found Stuck In Snow A man has gone missing in the region and authorities are asking the public's help in locating him. The Massachusetts State Police and Huntington Police Department are attempting to locate Hampshire County resident Robert Sherman, age 79, of Chesterfield, who last last seen in Hampden County on Monday, Feb. 7 around 9:30 a.m., in Westfield. Man Charged Following Fatal Altercation At Suffolk County Home A man has been charged following a fatal altercation that occurred at his Long Island home. The incident happened in East Hampton and involved two men, a 35-year-old who lives at the home on Lincoln Avenue, and 45-year-old Kevin Somers, of Amagansett, Suffolk County Police said.
