Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Police Investigating Fatal Shooting Near Suffolk County Intersection Police are investigating a fatal shooting near a Long Island intersection. Officers responded to Flower Road, near Neighborhood Road in Shirley, after a man was shot in the street at 12:35 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, Suffolk County Police said. Daniel Decosta, age 34, of Coram, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. Covid-19: Two NY Nurses Accused Of Forging Vaccine Cards For Profit Two New York nurses are accused of making substantial profits by forging COVID-19 vaccination cards. The two are Long Island residents Julie DeVuono, age 49, the owner of Wild Child Pediatric Healthcare in Amityville, and an employee at the facility, 44-year-old Marissa Urraro. IDs Released For Two Found Dead After Crash In Fairfield County The victims have been identified after a double-fatal crash in Fairfield County. Troopers responded to the Town of Shelton at around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 27 on the Route 8 North on-ramp from Old Stratford Road (Exit 12).
