Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Storm Knocks Out Power On Long Island A powerful, fast-moving storm with damaging wind gusts has knocked out power on Long Island. At around 10:45 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, PSEG Long Island reported nearly 1,200 customers without service, with around 750 outages in Nassau County and 395 in Suffolk County.

Storm Knocks Out Power To Thousands In Westchester A powerful, fast-moving storm with damaging wind gusts has knocked out power to thousands in the Hudson Valley. At around 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, Con Edison is reporting around 6,000 customers without power in Westchester County, with about two-thirds of the outages in the central and southern parts of the county. Two Killed After Wrong-Way, Head-On I-95 Crash, CT State Police Say Police are investigating a double-fatal, head-on overnight crash on a stretch of I-95. It happened around 10:45 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16 in New Haven County in the Town of Guilford. Suffolk County Man Seriously Injured After Car Crashes Into Pole, Police Say Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a Long Island overnight. It happened around 12:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17 in Lake Grove. A 45-year-old Deer Park man was driving a 2007 Honda Accord westbound on Nesconset Highway when he lost control of the vehicle at Moriches Road, Suffolk County Police said. Two Teens Charged With Murder After Man Found Dead On Long Island Roadway Two teenagers have been charged with murder and other charges after a man was found dead on a Long Island roadway.
