Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

One Killed After House Fire Breaks Out On Long Island Authorities are investigating a house fire that involved one fatality and injuries to three firefighters on Long Island. The blaze broke out around 11:40 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20 in Massapequa at Bayview Street East. Upon arrival by officers and members of the Massapequa Fire Department, the house was fully engulfed in flames, Nassau County Police said. Alert Issued For Missing 13-Year-Old Long Island Girl A 13-year-old Long Island girl has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. Valery Diaz-Granados was last seen at her residence in Westbury on Sunday, Dec. 19 at 4 p.m., Nassau County Police said. Her disappearance was reported to police on Monday morning, Dec. 20. Long Island Man Killed After Crash Involving Overturned Jeep Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that left a Long Island man dead. Woman Killed After Vehicle Fire Breaks Out On Long Island A woman was killed and a man injured after a vehicle fire broke out overnight on Long Island. The vehicle, a 2002 Ford Econoline van, was fully engulfed, in Coram on County Road 83, just north of Pine Road, when emergency responders arrived at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18.
