Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

ID Released For Man Found Dead On Long Island Roadway The identity has been released of a man who was found dead on a Long Island roadway. Officers responded to a 911 call for a man lying in the street in Uniondale at Alexander Avenue and Lee Road at around 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10.   Upon police arrival, the man was pronounced dead by a Nassau County Police Medic. Suspect Nabbed For Pair Of Robberies At Same Long Island Bank A suspect has been apprehended in connection to a pair of  Long Island robberies and for stealing a truck. The most recent robbery at the Suffolk Federal Credit Union in Medford, located at 3681 Horseblock Road, happened 1:45 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, when the man passed a note demanding cash to an employee, Suffolk County Police said. The teller complied and gave him cash from the drawer, said police. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
