Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Sam Now A Monster Category 4 Hurricane With 145 MPH Winds; Latest Projected Path Hurricane Sam has quickly strengthened to major Category 4 status as it churns in the Atlantic basin. As of Sunday morning, Sept. 26, Sam is located east-southeast of the northern Leeward Islands and is moving toward the west-northwest at around 8 miles per hour. One Seriously Injured In Long Island Crash Involving Drunk Driver Who Ran Red Light, Police Say A man driving drunk who ran a red light was charged after a chain-reaction crash at a Long Island intersection left one person seriously injured, police said. Suspect At Large After Man Shot, Killed In Broad Daylight On Residential Long Island Street A suspect is at large after a man was shot and killed in broad daylight on a residential Long Island street. It happened on Friday, Sept. 24 at 5:15 p.m. in Elmont. Officers responded to a call for multiple shots fired in the rear of 100 Raff Ave. and upon arrival, discovered the man who had been shot, Nassau County Police said. Federal Arrest Warrant Issued For Missing Fiancé In Gabby Petito Homicide Investigation An arrest warrant has been issued for Brian Laundrie following the death of his fiancée and fellow Long Island native Gabby Petito.
