Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Student From Hudson Valley Among Four Killed In Ukraine Crash A Hudson Valley man was one of four people killed in a small-plane crash. Rockland County resident Amrom Fromowitz, of Monsey, was among three yeshiva students who were killed, along with the pilot, when the plane crashed into a house in western Ukraine's Kolomyia district, on Wednesday, July 28, according to reports from Ukrainian. Long Island Man Sentenced For Fatal 2018 Shooting Of 30-Year-Old A Long Island man has been sentenced for the 2018 murder of a 30-year-old. On Oct. 19, 2018, at approximately 10:55 a.m., victim Demetrius Winfield was exiting his vehicle, on break from his job, in front of a home on Wellesley Street in Hempstead, the Nassau County District Attorney's Office said. Winfield and a friend were then shot by Jamik Cannon, age 28, of Hempstead, and his co-conspirator Brian Marshall-Gibson, according to authorities, who said that Cannon and Marshall-Gibson fired at least 15 shots in 14 seconds. New Round Of Showers, Thunderstorms Will Be Followed By Change In Weather Pattern An approaching cold front will trigger a new round of showers and thunderstorms will be followed by a change in the weather pattern. Massachusetts State Police Add Homicide Suspect To Most Wanted List The Massachusetts State Police added a homicide suspect to its list of Most Wanted fugitives. Jeffery A. Beltre-Rojas is wanted for the 2020 shooting of Luis Tiro-Romero inside a Worcester residence at 6 Mount Pleasant St. Tiro-Romero died as a result of injuries from the shooting in early 2021. Beltre-Rojas, age 27, is 5-foot-7, about 250 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. It happened just before 5 a.m. Friday, July 23 in Cedarhurst.
