Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Crystal Patino, age 39, had last been seen leaving Nassau University Medical Center on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, at approximately 10:30 p.m. Saturday, July 10, according to Nassau County Police. Man Charged With Attempted Murder After Dispute Nearly Turns Deadly On Long Island A Long Island man has been apprehended after a dispute nearly turned deadly. A 911 call placed around 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 6 reported that a person had been shot on Jackson Street in Hempstead. Two Police Officers Hospitalized After Long Island Crash Two police officers were hospitalized after their cruiser crashed on a busy Long Island roadway. The incident happened just before 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 9 in Freeport. Nassau County Police First Precinct officers were responding to a call while traveling eastbound on East Seaman Avenue. Long Island Man Allegedly Driving Drunk Strikes, Kills Pedestrian A man has been charged with driving while intoxicated following a crash that killed a pedestrian overnight on a Long Island roadway. New Round Of Severe Storms Sweeping Through Region For the third straight day, a line of severe thunderstorms is moving through the region from west to east. Scattered storm activity is expected Thursday afternoon, July 8, and into the evening.
