Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

ID Released For Man Killed In Shooting At July 4th Party On Long Island The identity has been released of a man who was shot and killed at a Long Island block party. The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 4 in Roosevelt, where Nassau County Police say two groups were involved in an altercation at the party on Hudson Avenue. Multiple shots were fired and as a result, three people were struck by gunfire, police said. Woman Killed In Chain-Reaction Crash On I-95 A woman was killed and another person hospitalized after a multi-vehicle, chain-reaction crash near the border of Westchester and Fairfield counties on I-95. It happened around 9:50 p.m. Saturday, July 3 in Greenwich. Teenage Woman Walking On Roadway Shot After Leaving Long Island Party An investigation is underway after a teenage woman walking on a Long Island roadway was shot after leaving a party overnight. Women Charged With Permitting Minors To Have Alcohol During July 4th Party In Fairfield County A pair of women have been charged with permitting minors to have alcohol after police say they broke up a July 4th party in Fairfield County.
