Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Found Guilty Of Raping, Kidnapping Woman At Massachusetts Motel A 41-year-old man has been convicted of kidnapping and raping a woman at a motel in Shrewsbury after a jury-waived trial in Worcester Superior Court. Edward Lacey of Worcester was found guilty on Friday, March 19 of kidnapping, two counts of rape, three counts of indecent assault and battery, strangulation, threat to commit a crime, and assault and battery. He was found not guilty of assault with intent to murder. Judge David Ricciardone presided over the four-day trial. The judge set Thursday, April 1 for sentencing. Covid-19: First Case Of Highly Contagious Brazil Strain Confirmed In NY The first case of the highly contagious COVID-19 Brazilian variant has been confirmed in a New York State resident. The case of the strain, officially known as the P.1 variant, was identified by scientists at Mount Sinai hospital in New York City and verified by the Department of Health's Wadsworth Center Laboratories. 12-Year-Old, Mother Found Dead In Massachusetts Home A 12-year-old and her 49-year-old mother were found dead inside a home in Worcester County. The incident occurred on Ladyslipper Drive in Shrewsbury around 7:30 a.m. Friday, March 19. Current Aide Accuses Cuomo Of Sexual Harassment A current employee in New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office has just become the eighth woman to accuse him of sexual harassment.
