Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Dean's List College Student From Hudson Valley Found Dead In Dorm Room A college student from the Hudson Valley has died at age 20. Dutchess County resident Cory Gallinger, of Salt Point, a junior at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, was found unresponsive in his dorm room on Sunday, March 21, according to college officials. The cause of death has not been released. On Monday, March 22, a vigil was held outside a chapel on campus, with approximately 1,000 attending, according to Syracuse.com. Man Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Car In Front Of His Long Island Home A Long Island man suffered serious injuries after he was hit by a car in front of his house overnight, according to police. John P. Jones, age 55, was in the roadway in front of the home in Selden, located on Dare Road, when he was struck by a northbound 2016 Hyundai sedan at approximately 9:45 p.m. Saturday, March 20, Suffolk County Police said. Jones was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital. The driver of the Hyundai, Christa Henselder, age 79, of Selden, was not injured. The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
