Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Missing Northern Westchester Woman Found Update: A Northern Westchester who was reported missing by her family has been found. April Benson, age 70, of Yorktown, had last been heard from around 2 p.m. Monday, March 29, at which time she stated she was going to the Cortlandt Train Station to get a cab and head for Teatown Road in the town of Cortlandt, state police said. House Fire Breaks Out In Fairfield County A family has been temporarily displaced after a house fire in Fairfield County. The blaze broke out around 10 a.m. Sunday, March 28 on Live Oak Road in Norwalk. A neighbor had called 911, saying that there had been a propane tank explosion and that the house was on fire, Norwalk FD Deputy Chief Edward Prescott said. Upon arrival, firefighters found a rear section of the house on fire, but no propane tanks involved, although a gas grill was in the vicinity, according to Prescott. Three Long Island Store Clerks Charged With Selling Alcohol, Vape Products To Minors Three Long Island store workers have been charged for selling alcohol and/or vape products to minors, police said. In response to community complaints, Suffolk County Police First Precinct Crime Section officers conducted an investigation into the sale of alcohol and vapes to minors during which five businesses were checked for compliance with the law. Teen Charged After Man Shot, Killed In Broad Daylight On Busy Long Island Roadway A suspect has been apprehended after a man was fatally shot in broad daylight on a busy Long Island roadway. The incident happened Wednesday, March 24 at approximately 3:35 p.m. in Port Jefferson. Alert Issued For Missing Long Island 15-Year-Old A Long Island girl has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. Mykenzie McMillan, age 15, was last seen at 12:10 a.m. on Friday, March 26, leaving her Nesconset home on foot, said Suffolk County Police, who have issued a Silver Alert, noting she may be suicidal.
