Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

27-Year-Old Killed, Three Hospitalized In Single-Vehicle Long Island Crash One person was killed and three others were hospitalized in a single-vehicle Long Island crash. It happened around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, March 29 on the westbound Southern State Parkway in Hempstead, between exits 18 and 17. An investigation revealed the vehicle involved was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver tried to change lanes but lost control, according to state police. Man Dies From Injuries After Being Struck By Car Near Long Island Intersection A man has died from his injuries less than a week after he was seriously injured after he was struck by a vehicle near a Long Island intersection. Serious Crash Causes I-84 Closure A busy stretch of I-84 is closed during the height of the morning commute after a serious crash in Connecticut. The closure is in both directions after the crash involving a rolled-over tractor-trailer happened on the eastbound side just before 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 30 in Northern Fairfield County near Exit 13. Connecticut State Police said the crash led to a large fuel spill. Eastbound traffic is being detoured to local streets at Exit 11. Motorists are being advised to use alternate routes if possible.
