Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Alert Issued For 15-Year-Old Who's Gone Missing In Western Mass A 15-year-old girl has gone missing in Western Massachusetts and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. Jeziah Adorno ran away from her home in Chicopee and was last seen in the area of Pearl Street in Springfield, Chicopee Police said. She is described as being 5-foot-2, 135 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, black sweat pants, and black UGG boots. One Killed After Speeding Vehicle Crashes Into Welcome To Jones Beach Monument, Police Say One person was killed after a vehicle crashed into the Welcome to Jones Beach monument, according to state police. The crash happened around 8:05 a.m. Tuesday, April 6. The vehicle was traveling southbound on the Meadowbrook State Parkway, at a high rate of speed, witnesses reported to police. The vehicle then left the roadway, struck the monument, at Exit M10, and the vehicle caught fire, police said. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Covid-19: CDC Releases New Guidance On Spread Of Virus On Surfaces The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) has released updated guidance on the spread of COVID-19 on surfaces. "People can be affected with the virus that causes COVID-19 with contact with contaminated surfaces and objects," CDC Director Rochelle Walensky. "However, evidence has demonstrated the risk by this route of transmission is actually low." ID Released For Woman Killed In Wrong-Way Western Mass Crash The identity has been released for a woman killed in a fatal, wrong-way crash in Western Massachusetts. It happed around noontime on Saturday, April 3, in Holyoke on Route 91.
