New Goats Born At Bridgeport's Beardsley Zoo BRIDGEPORT, Conn. --  Talk about making an entrance! On Columbus Day weekend, Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo experienced a Nigerian Dwarf goat baby boom with three babies born on Friday, Oct. 10, and three more on Sunday, Oct. 12. The two proud moms are 4-and-half-year-old, Cupcake, who welcomed one female and two male kids. Peaches gave birth to one male and two females. Rodney, 2-and-a-half, is the dad.
