Samuel Consolazio, 95, Of Mount Vernon
MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Samuel Consolazio, a resident of Mount Vernon, died Nov. 21 after a brief illness.
He was born June 6, 1920, to Benjamin and Clorinda (Bevacqua) Consolazio. Until his retirement, he owned and operated the Consolazio Drill and Bit Corp., a business primarily involved in providing blacksmithing services and manufacturing.

Herbert King Spear, 95, Longtime Mamaroneck Resident
MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Herbert "Beazy" King Spear, a longtime resident of Mamaroneck, died on Monday, Dec. 14. He was 95.
He was born to Abraham and Etta Spear on Aug.1, 1920. He grew up on New York City’s Upper West Side. He attended the Barnard School for Boys from kindergarten through high school, and he graduated in 1938.
Spear went into his family’s retail store business, H. King & Co. During World War II, Spear served in the Marines as a drill sergeant. In 1948, he married Patricia Sternberg Spear and a few years later moved to Mamaroneck.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Traci Collins Killerlane, a White Plains resident, died Monday, Jan. 4. She was 52.
Killerlane was predeceased by her father, Terrance Collins; husband James J. Killerlane, Jr.; and aunt and uncle Joyce and Jimmy Mulroy.
She is survived by her stepchildren, Christina Killerlane Budnick and James J. Killerlane III; her mother Lorraine A. Collins; uncle John, aunt Florence Mulroy, aunt Jeanie Ripple and many cousins and friends.

DANBURY, Conn. -- Ellen M. Cotter, a Danbury native, died in her home Dec. 30 after a brief battle with cancer. She was 67.
Cotter was born in Danbury on Feb. 17, 1948, to Dr. Felix and Anne (Bezurzyk) Tomaino.
She attended St. Peter's School and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in Norwalk.
