POMPTON LAKES, N.J. -- A live comedy spoof about a talent show/fundraiser features characters with "big hair, big mouths and big drama" Saturday, July 16, at Rhino Studio in Pompton Lakes.
"Housewives of Secaucus -- A Suburban Travesty," presented by Laugh Out Loud Productions, promises "side-splitting" humor.

Pink Floyd Tribute Band To Play Peekskill
PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- A Pink Floyd tribute band will take the stage Saturday, July 23, at the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater in Peekskill.The Machine has performed at theaters, large clubs and casinos across North and Central America, Europe and Asia, and at such music festivals as Bonnaroo, Riverbend, Gathering of the Vibes, Buffalo's Artpark and Germany’s Rock of Ages, according to a release.
Additionally, the quartet has shared the stage with full symphony orchestras, including the Atlanta, Detroit, Pittsburgh and San Diego symphonies.

Mandolin Concert, Kids Program Offered At Meadowlands Museum
RUTERFORD, N.J. -- Several members of the Bloomfield Mandolin Orchestra will perform Wednesday, July 20 at the Meadowlands Museum in Rutherford.A short program will include, Funiculi Funicula , Torna a Surriento , ‘O Mari, songs often performed by the late tenor Luciano Pavarottie.
Admission for the evening’s performance is $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and children 16 years and younger. No charge for children under five.
