East Fishkill Boy Writes Apology To Police For Mistaken 911 Call EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. -- An East Fishkill boy, 9, mistakenly called 911 out of curiosity recently, reaching Dutchess County dispatch, which led police officer Austin Nicholas to respond to the boy's house, the East Fishkill Police Department reports. "When I got there, I knocked on the door (and) saw Nicholas and his brother running around the house,” Nichols told Time Warner Cable News. Two NYC Men Charged In Attempt To Scam Wilton Homeowner WILTON, Conn. -- Two New York City men were charged May 31 with attempting to scam a Wilton homeowner, according to police.The men were working without proper permits and attempted to defraud the homeowner, said police. Officers responded May 31 at noon to a report of unwanted people at the residence, police said. Police found the suspects, Bar Etedgi, 22 and Shai Hababou, 23, and charged both with second-degree larceny, sales without a permit, and failure to provide/notice of cancel, according to police. Etedgi and Hababou were each held on $5,000 bond, police said.
