Fairfield Donnelly Dash Race Remembers Couple Killed In Jewelry Store
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The annual Donnelly Dash set for Sunday, April 10, remembers Tim and Kim and Tim Donnelly, a couple killed in their Fairfield jewelry store, in 2005.Participants may join a 3.5-mile run or 1.8-mile walk, and there will be a Kids Fun Run.
Proceeds will benefit such local charities as Greater Bridgeport Youth Orchestra, Groundwork of Bridgeport, the Fairfield Police Explorers, and Fairfield Police Scholarship Fund.

Bethel Proposes $27.6M Municipal, $43.6M School Budgets
BETHEL, Conn. -- A proposed budget was rolled out in Bethel during Tuesday's town meeting, reported WLAD-AM.
The municipal side proposal is about $27.6 million, inclusive of debt service of approximately $3.9 million, said the WLAD-AM report.
The account to maintain the schools account is $489,000, included in the municipal budget, according to WLAD-AM.
Bethel First Selectman Matt Knickerbocker told WLAD-AM that approximately $43.6 million is the Board of Education budget proposal, the WLAD-AM report said.

Registration Event Helps Bergen County Seniors Get Medicaid, Health Service
HARRINGTON PARK, N.J. -- The Harrington Park Board of Health is planning a Senior Services registration event Tuesday, April 12 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Municipal Building, 85 Harriot Ave., Harrington Park, N.J.A representative will assist seniors in applying for Medicaid, food stamps, New Jersey Family Care, home health services, community care, and disabled/low income home energy assistance.
The registration is open to Bergen County residents. No appointments are needed.
