Futsal Craze Catches On In Westchester MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- Futsal has caught on in New York where Westchester Futsal Academy in Hawthorne is expanding its winter program to year-round. The Academy has worked with more than 1,000 players from Westchester County, New York City and Connecticut since its establishment seven years ago. The sport is popular among NBA names, such as Mark Cuban and Mikael Prokerov - both recently purchased futsal franchises. New Canaan's Mallozzi Endorses Kasich In GOP Race For President NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- An official endorsement of John Kasich for President came from New Canaan First Selectman Rob Mallozzi III, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
