OSSINING, N.Y. -- Ossining is small in size but plays largely in "American Culture," said a New York Times article about the Village.Its history dates back to before the American Revolution, said the New York Times.

Police Charge Stamford Teenager With Strangling Girlfriend
STAMFORD, Conn. -- Police arrested a 19-year-old Stamford man on strangulation charges after he fought with his girlfriend Friday at her home in Glenbrook, the Stamford Advocate reported.
Police said the 19-year-old woman told officers that she and her boyfriend, Elijah Johnson, 19, of Newfield Avenue, were arguing about text messages he had received, the Advocate said.
He put his hands tightly around her neck and cut off her ability to breathe as they fought over the phone, police told the Advocate.
