Dutchess County Legislature OKs $192M New Jail Project DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Lawmakers voted 19 to 6 to approve the construction of a jail and sheriff's office, a project valued at $192 million Tuesday, according to the report.Poughkeepsie lawmakers conducted debate on the topic, with the vote happening about 1 a.m. The project was proposed by Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro due to the present jail being overly crowded. H-e-b Issues Voluntary Recall of Hill Country Brand Tuna H-E-B is voluntarily recalling 224 cases (10,752 cans) of Hill Country Fare brand 5 oz. Chunk Light Tuna in Oil, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.  This recall has been initiated because the product, produced at a co-packer, may have been undercooked due to an equipment malfunction, which was uncovered during a routine inspection. Northeastern-bound senior Monae Cooper captured the New York State Public High School Athletic Association and Federation championship in the weight throw, and placed 2nd in the shot put. Senior Adrian Long was a member of the 1st place NY State Section 1 intersectional distance medley relay team. Olivia Morgan earned fifth in NY State and 6th in the Federation in the long jump.
