A Danbury Superior Court judge set the new hearing date when Art Colley made his court appearance Wednesday, said The News-Times. The case began when a school audit found questionable spending of about $124,000, including payments to Colley’s personal credit card bill, Colley’s daughter’s landlord and orthodontia work for his secretary. New initiatives include a MakerBot Replicator 3-D printer to help students in all grades develop problem-solving skills and techniques. “The students learn the fundamentals of process and design using this printer,” said science teacher Vincent Cook, who wrote the STEM grant. One Bus Crashes, Another Catches Fire In Wilton WILTON, Conn. -- Two ECS buses drew emergency personnel to their aid within days of each other in Wilton, according to the Wilton Bulletin. One instance involved a crash between a bus and a Volvo heading north on Route 7 Jan. 20 at 7 p.m., according to the Wilton Bulletin. In one incident, an officer stopped a driver Jan. 15 at 1:36 a.m. for traffic violations on Route 311 in Kent, the department said. The driver, Christina M. Pondiccio, 21, of Danbury, Conn., was allegedly found to be intoxicated, according to the department.
