Art Show: Bedford Extends Dates Following Snowstorm
BEDFORD, N.Y. -- Art Show: Bedford has extended its hours for this coming week, continuing Thursday through Saturday at St. Matthew's Church Fellowship Hall in Bedford.The show will continue Thursday and Friday, Jan. 28 and 29, from 1 to 4 p.m.; and Saturday, Jan. 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The winners in this juried show, with Peter MacGill judging the photography, and Mimi Thompson Rosenquist judging paintings, ceramics and mixed media, were as follows:

Grants Going To Norwalk Schools, Mill Hill, Lockwood-Mathews, Aquarium
NORWALK, Conn. --The State Bond Commission is expected to approve over $3 million grant-in-aid funding in total for the Mill Hill Historic Park, the Maritime Aquarium, the Lockwood Mathews Mansion, and the Norwalk Public Schools, according to an announcement by Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff (D-Norwalk) . “Mill Hill, the Maritime Aquarium, and the Lockwood Mathews Mansion are cultural gems in our community,” he said.
