Ira Meyer, 88, Of Yonkers YONKERS, N.Y. -- Ira Meyer, of Yonkers, passed away peacefully Oct. 10. He was 88. Meyer was the son of Etta and Isaac Meyer. He is survived by his wife, Pearl, sons Irwin (Stacey), Harold (Lori) and Stuart; and grandchildren, Evan, Ross, Rebecca and Alli.  Meyer was predeceased by daughter-in-law, Mari. He was an electrical engineer with a passion for Lionel Trains. Meyer was past president of Midchester Jewish Center and continued his contributions at Greenburgh Hebrew Center.
