Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Prosecutor: Jersey Shore Sex Offender Failed To Register A 61-year-old convicted sex offender from Ocean County failed to let authorities know where he has been living, they said. Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said that Thomas Lockhart of Seaside Park was arrested on Tuesday and charged with failure to register as a sex offender. Lockhart had been living at the Desert Palm Motel in Seaside Park, and then allegedly moved without registering or notifying the appropriate local law enforcement agencies, according to Billhimer. First Responders Called To Serious Motorcycle Crash In Central Jersey Police, firefighters and EMS crews were called to a serious motorcycle crash in Middlesex County, authorities said.  Port Reading emergency crews were called to Blair Road in Woodbridge late Tuesday afternoon.  A Northstar medevac helicopter was called to Boynton Park shortly before 5 p.m. to airlift a 35-year-old man injured in the crash, according to initial reports. Triple Trenton Shooting Leaves 2 Women, 1 Man Hospitalized Two women and a man were hospitalized after a triple shooting in Trenton, authorities said.  The multiple shooting was reported about 7 p.m. on Monday near 180 Walnut Ave., according to initial reports.  Trenton police officers responded to the scene and were told the shooting victims had taken themselves to a local hospital.
