Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Atlantic City Bomb Squad Removes Unexploded Grenade From Yard Sale Police in South Jersey were called to Shore Drive in North Cape May on Saturday on a report of a hand grenade found at a yard sale.  Lower Township Police determined that the hand grenade was unexploded and immediately evacuated the area of Shore Drive between Racetrack Drive and Folsom Drive, according to an alert. State Police Investigate Fatal Crash In Camden County An unidentified motorist was killed in a  crash along Route 42 in Camden County, authorities said. The vehicle was southbound near Exit 7B in Gloucester Township about 3 p.m. on Thursday when it veered off the road, struck several trees and overturned, trapping the driver, state police said. Trenton Police Called To Multiple Shooting An unidentified man was shot multiple times on Thursday evening in Trenton, authorities said. Gunfire rang out at 6:54 p.m. on Laclede Avenue. EMS crews rushed the man to a local medical center, where he was listed in serious  condition, police said.
