Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Roberto Alcazar-Sanchez, 27, of Jackson, who had fled to Mexico after a fatal motor vehicle crash was captured on Wednesday, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. 70-Year-Old Atlantic County Man Sentenced For Sexually Assaulting Girl, 12 A 70 year-old man from South Jersey has been sentenced to a treatment center on charges of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a 12 year-old girl, authorities said. Jose A. Rodriguez of Egg Harbor City was sentenced on Thursday by Judge Bernard Delury, Jr.  The defendant’s total sentence on all counts is 11 and a half years to be served at the Adult Diagnostic Treatment Facility in Avenel, according to Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Man Shot In Chest In South Jersey Authorities in Burlington County are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital.  At about 9:45 p.m. Thursday, Riverside police responded to reports of an injured male at 8 Fairview St. When police arrived, they found an unidentified victim suffering a bullet wound in his chest. Egg Harbor Township police seek the public's assistance in finding Chloe Ferrel who was last seen on Sunday, they said. She has brown eyes, long braided black hair and a dark complexion.
