Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Authorities ID Central Jersey Resident, 75, Killed In House Fire Authorities have released the name of the Middlesex County resident killed in a house fire on Tuesday. The fire broke out about 5 p.m. at 122 Lowell Street in Carteret.   First responders found Mark Levinzon, 75, of Carteret inside the residence. Levinzon was unresponsive and taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
