Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

US Marshals Arrest Trenton Fugitive, 28, In Stabbing Death A 28-year-old fugitive from Trenton has been arrested by U.S. Marshals in last weekend's stabbing death, authorities said. Allen Q. Brookins of East State Street was charged with murder and weapons offenses, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. Pedestrian Struck, Killed In South Jersey Crash Authorities are investigating a fatal pedestrian-car crash in Burlington County  The collision occurred about 9:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of Route 73 in Maple Shade, according to initial reports. Covid-19: Pennsylvania Reports Highest Daily Positive Coronavirus Count Pennsylvania on Thursday reported its largest daily count of new, positive coronavirus since the pandemic began, state health department officials said. A total of 4,982 patients were hospitalized and 1,048 were in intensive care units, state officials said.
