Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Brick Police Bust Trio For Drugs, Seize Car After Stop Brick police arrested three people and seized their car after finding crack and pot during a Wednesday morning traffic stop, authorities said. Street Crimes Unit members found driver Michael Trotman, 35, of Pine Beach Borough carrying less than a half-ounce crack and a small amount of marijuana during the 9 a.m. stop near Brick Boulevard and Schoener Drive, Brick police said. After nearly 70 years in business, Hand's on Long Beach Island had announced its expected closure in April. Sinkhole: Roadway Closed In Toms River A roadway in Ocean County that collapsed due to a large sinkhole.is closed to all traffic, police said. On Monday, the sinkhole opened up on Windsor Avenue, Toms River police said. The Municipal Utilities Authority and SUEZ are currently working to repair it, police said on Tuesday afternoon.
