Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Handgun, Heroin Seized By Howell Police Three people were arrested and nearly 2,000 doses of heroin seized in a pair of incidents,  Howell police said. In the first incident, Howell Patrolman Brett Kyle pulled over a car in the Ramtown section that had been reported as driving erratically. He asked for a K-9 team and Sgt. Daniel McDonald of Somerset was indicted for one count of first-degree bias intimidation, one count of second-degree bias intimidation, and two counts of making terroristic threats against police officers. Stafford Police Arrest Homeless Fugitive In Internet Luring Incident Stafford police have re-arrested a fugitive wanted for sexually assaulting an underage girl after contacting her via a social media app.  Authorities found the suspect, Charles E.
