Four Story Fall Leaves Man Critical In Jersey City: Authorities A man is in critical condition after falling four stories while working on a construction site in Jersey City on Monday, June 5, authorities said. The man was working on the roof at 664 Ocean Ave. when he fell down to the basement of the building, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said. Firefighters transported him to Jersey City Medical Center in critical condition with injuries to his head and right arm, Wallace-Scalfione said. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was notified and an investigation is ongoing, Wallace-Scalfione said.
