Newark Man Fatally Shot In East Orange A 39-year-old Newark resident was shot and killed in East Orange on the afternoon of Thursday, June 1, authorities said. Officer Kills Dog After Attack In Linden: Police A dog was shot and killed after it attacked two police officers in Linden on Friday morning, June 2, authorities said.
