Before settling into the Hudson Valley, Zak! previously spent time in the New York Daily News newsroom and worked for hyperlocal digital news outlets on Long Island. He wrote sports for The Ithacan and The Ithaca Journal before taking his talents to the Pacific Northwest, where he served as the sports editor at the Shoshone News-Press until heading back east to work with Daily Voice.

One Dead, Two Hospitalized In Triple Shooting At MD Apartment Complex One person was killed in a triple shooting overnight in Prince George's County, police say. Officers from the Prince George's County Police Department were called at shortly after 1:30 a.m. to the 3700 block of Donnell Drive to investigate a reported shooting on Sunday, Aug. 13. Toyota Recalls 168K Trucks Because Of Possible Fire Risk Toyota is conducting a large safety recall involving some late-model pickup trucks. The auto giant announced that approximately 168,000 of its 2022 and 2023 Toyota Tundra and Tundra Hybrid vehicles are subject to the recall due to a possible fire hazard.
