Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Two Brothers Killed In Crash Between Car, SUV On Long Island An investigation is underway after two brothers were killed in an overnight crash on Long Island. It happened just after 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, in Mount Sinai. Darrius Jones, age 16, of Coram, was driving a 1998 Ford Mustang southbound on County Road 83, and made a left turn onto Canal Road, where the car collided with a northbound Jeep SUV driven by Alaina Dimaria, age 28, Suffolk County Police said. Ida Rips Through Region, Causing Power Outages, Flooding, Road, School Closures Three days after making landfall in Louisiana as a Category 4 hurricane, Ida ripped through the Northeast, wreaking havoc with numerous power outages, flooding, and road and school closures on Thursday, Sept. 2.
