Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Killed After Car Crashes Into Guardrail On I-84 A man was killed after a car crashed into a guardrail on a stretch of I-84 in Connecticut. It happened just before 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14, in Hartford. A 2005 Toyota Corolla was traveling in the right lane of I-84 eastbound, near Exit 46, in Hartford. Covid-19: 33 NY Counties Reach CDC 'High' Level For Community Spread Two weeks ago at this time, just two counties in New York State -- Nassau and Suffolk -- were rated as having "high" COVID-19 transmission levels, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Now, the number is 33 amid an outbreak of cases connected to the highly contagious Delta variant. The CDC announced late in July that people should return to wearing masks indoors in areas with “substantial” and “high” COVID-19 transmission. Woman Killed, Six Seriously Injured After Car Crashes Into Tree, CT State Police Say A woman was killed and six other people suffered serious injures in a single-vehicle crash in Connecticut. It happened just before 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13 in New Haven County.
