Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

ID Released For Long Island Man Killed In Crash Involving Motorist Charged With DWI, Police Say A pedestrian who was killed in a crash involving an allegedly drunk motorist has been identified by police. At approximately 11:45 p.m. on Friday, July 2, Steven Moscatiello, age 20, of Garden City, was operating a gray-colored 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee eastbound on Jericho Turnpike in New Hyde Park at the intersection of Cherry Lane when he struck the male pedestrian, Nassau County Police said. Covid-19: New Variant May Be More Resistant To Vaccines Than Other Strains, Scientists Say A new strain of the COVID-19 virus may be more resistant to vaccines than other variants, scientists are now warning. The C.37 strain, known as the Lambda variant, was first identified in Peru in December 2020, when it accounted for less than one percent of new cases. ID Released For Man Killed In Shooting At July 4th Party On Long Island The identity has been released of a man who was shot and killed at a Long Island block party. The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 4 in Roosevelt, where Nassau County Police say two groups were involved in an altercation at the party on Hudson Avenue.
