Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Rapid Freeze To Follow New Round Of Rain, Gusty Winds As Cold Front Arrives A new round of rain and wind from a massive storm system will accompany a cold front that will push through the region Friday afternoon, Dec. 23, leading to a dramatic drop in temperatures, according to the National Weather Service. With blizzard-like conditions in much of the Midwest, more than 1,000 flights have been canceled as of early Thursday morning. Nationally, over there have been over a million power outages. Storm Knocks Out Power To Thousands In Westchester A powerful storm packed with damaging winds has knocked out power to thousands in Westchester and Putnam counties. As of around 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, NYSEG says 7,805 in its service area in Northern Westchester are without power with Con Ed reporting 4,195 of its customers in the dark throughout Westchester. Covid-19: CDC Recommends Indoor Mask-Wearing In Westchester In Brand-New Tracker Report The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is recommending indoor mask-wearing in nine New York counties in its latest COVID-19 data tracker report. Storm Knocks Out Power To Thousands On Long Island; Here's Estimated Restoration Time A powerful storm packed with damaging winds has knocked out power to thousands across Long Island. As of around 8 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, PSEG Long Island is reporting 8,636 without power, with 6,462 customers in the dark in Suffolk, 2,172 in Nassau, and a handful in the Rockaway Peninsula. ID Released For 18-Year-Old Male Passenger Killed In Triple-Fatal Holtsville Crash The identity has been released for a third teenager killed in an overnight crash on a Long Island roadway. It happened at around 9:45 p.m. in Holtsville.
