Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

'Out Of Control': Teenage Woman Attacks Female Officer In Hudson Valley, Police Say A teenage woman has been accused of attacking a female officer during an incident in the Hudson Valley. It happened on Thursday, Dec. 15 in Rockland County. Ramapo Police say officers responded to a Wesley Hills home for a report of a female causing an issue. When the first officer arrived, he found an intoxicated woman "causing damage to the home and herself," police said. Long Island Man Dies After Driving Off Dock In Port Jefferson A man pulled from the water was pronounced dead after authorities say he drove off a dock on Long Island. The incident happened around 7:20 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16 in Port Jefferson. He was operating a vehicle on West Broadway at the Port Jeff dock when he suffered an apparent medical emergency and drove into the water, Suffolk County Police said. The man has been identified as Stuart Dorfman, age 74, of Plainview, according to police. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392.

Lloyd Harbor Teen Seriously Injured In Huntington Crash Involving Intoxicated Driver: Police A Long Island teen was charged with driving while intoxicated after an 18-year-old passenger was seriously injured when a luxury SUV crashed into trees and a pole overnight, according to authorities. NY College Student Missing Since Thanksgiving Weekend Found A student at a university in New York who went missing over Thanksgiving weekend has been found. Kenny DeLand Jr., age 22, had last been heard from on Sunday, Nov. 27 when he contacted his family on social media, the family said. A student at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, DeLand had been studying abroad in France.
