Beating Death: Suspect Captured In Fairfax Homicide Case, Cops Say A 30-year-old man was slapped with a murder charges on accusations he beat another man to death in Fairfax County last month, police said. Aaron James Anthony Robertson, who appears to be homeless, was being held in the county's detention center on a charge of second-degree murder as of Thursday, July 6, Fairfax police said. Robertson is believed to have beaten Luis Barahona Reyes to death, before his body was found at 9715 Fairfax Boulevard on June 10, police said. Laundromat Beatdown: Man Throws Punches In Virginia Parking Lot, Cops Say A 46-year-old Virginia man was in custody for carrying out an assault in a laundromat parking lot last month. Jose Jeremias Aguilar Cruz has been charged with malicious wounding in connection to the June 8 incident at Spin Cycle Laundry, in Woodbridge, Prince William County police said. There, Cruz and a 41-year-old acquaintance were arguing in the parking lot, when Cruz struck the man several times, then fled the area, PWC police said. IDs Of 2 Dead In Crash With Trailer Hauling 78,000 Pounds Of Beer On I-95 Released Police have identified two drivers killed in a crash with a tractor trailer on Interstate 95 in northern Virginia this week. A 2022 Freightliner tractor-trailer hauling 78,000 pounds of beer was trying to change lanes on the northbound side of the highway in Stafford County, when it collided with a 2014 Nissan Altima around 4:40 a.m. near mile maker 136, Virginia State Police said. Barricaded Woman With Gun Brings Police Response In Philadelphia: Cops An armed woman threatening to harm herself and others brought a large police response to a Philadelphia neighborhood Thursday morning, July 6, police said. The call on the 5400 block of Vine Street came in just before 7:20 a.m., bringing a crisis team to the scene. The woman told police she wanted to harm herself and hat there were other people inside with her, whom she would hurt as well, police said in a release sent just before 10 a.m. A large police presence is expected. Murder-suicide: ID Of Shooter Who Killed Woman Then Himself In PA Home Released Police have ruled the case of two people found dead in a Central Pennsylvania home over the weekend a murder-suicide. Timothy Hanford, 49, is believed to have fatally shot a woman in a home on the 800 block of Grantham Road in Upper Allen Township before turning the gun on himself, local officials said. Princeton Doctoral Student Held Hostage In Iraq, Israeli Officials Say A Princeton doctoral student missing for several months is being held hostage in Iraq, Israeli officials said. Elizabeth Tsurkov, a citizen of both Russia and Israel, was abducted in March while doing work for the Ivy League school, according to a statement from Benjamin Netanyahu's office.
