A couple who robbed an Exxon station at knifepoint were arrested in Prince William County on July Fourth, police said.
Ashley Ivette Elvir Flores, 18, and Axel Median Cano Anaya, 20, both of Manassas, were charged with robbery and destruction of property, and held without bond as of Wednesday, July 5, Prince William County police said.
The pair walked into an Exxon station at 8289 Sudley Road in Manassas, around 8:35 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, and took items from a cooler, then walked toward an exit, police said.

Rapist Sodomized Juvenile Victim In Northern VA Apartment: Police
A 25-year-old man was arrested for sexually assaulting a juvenile inside of a Northern Virginia apartment, police said.
Oscar Sanchez Rivera, of Woodbridge, has been charged with rape, forcible sodomy, and object sexual penetration, following the incident just before 1 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, the Prince William County Police Department said.
The victim was inside of an apartment on Potomac Heights Place in Woodbridge, when Sanchez Rivera assaulted her, police said.
He was being held without bond.

Trio With Serious Burns Charged In Fireworks Explosion On NJ Lake
Adding insult to injury, three people who were burned in an illegal fireworks explosion on a New Jersey lake are facing charges.
Adam J. Perentin, 22, of Ogdensburg; Justin A. Pretot, 28, of Byram Township; and Jessica M. Whittam, 23, of Byram Township; were rescued from Lake Mohawk on Monday, July 3, after setting off commercial-grade fireworks that engulfed a homemade barge around 9:40 p.m., police in Byram Township said.

Police ID Driver, 23, Passenger From Tunisia, 21, Dead In Fiery July 4th Arlington Crash
Police have identified the driver and his passenger who died in an early-morning July Fourth crash in Arlington.
Furkan Avkan of Alexandria, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 2:05 a.m. accident on Walter Reed Drive, Arlington County police said. His passenger, 21-year-old Habiba Harbaoui — who was visiting the area from Tunisia — died at the hospital, authorities said.
A third female victim whose name was not released was in serious condition, police said following the crash.
