Robber Nabbed After Violent VA Encounter: Police
A 24-year-old man was in police custody after police say he and a woman robbed a man violently in Northern Virginia. The woman, whose name was not released, struck a 37-year-old man around 6 p.m. Saturday, July 1, on Irongate Way near Harpers Ct. in Manassas, Prince William County police said. The man fell to the ground, as Francisco D. Vilorio Velasquez and the woman took the victim's money then fled, police said. Vilorio Velasquez was later arrested and charged with robbery. Two dogs are banned from leaving their owner's property for 10 days after they both viciously attacked a child and two adults, authorities in northern Virginia said. : Man Found Unresponsive In Pool Pronounced Dead In Central PA
A 71-year-old man was pronounced dead after being found unresponsive in his Central Pennsylvania pool over the weekend, authorities said. The unidentified man was found in the pool at his home on the 3100 block of Grandview Road in Penn Township, around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, York County Coroner Pamela Gay said.
