Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

New Information Released By Police In Maryland On Suspect Wanted For Killing DC Man A man charged with the murder of a DC man is on the run, and police are asking for the public's help in locating him, authorities say. Randy McFail, 32, is accused of killing Robert Earl Price, 22, earlier this month in Capitol Heights, Prince George's County police say. Price was found suffering from a fatal gunshot wound in the 4100 block of Southern Avenue around 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 7, officials said. He was pronounced dead on the scene. 60-Year-Old Man Dies After Being Assaulted In Maryland During Robbery: Police A 60-year-old man has died after being assaulted by a man he tried to give a tissue on a Baltimore street, authorities say. Officers arrived to the 600 block of South Kenwood Avenue around 5:40 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 20 where they found the victim being treated by medics, according to a spokesperson from the Baltimore Police Department. Massive House Fire Reported In Baltimore, Shutting Down Roads (Developing) Several roads have been closed down as officials battle a massive house fire in Baltimore, authorities say. The home in the 3000 block of W. Belvedere Avenue went up in flames shortly before 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 23, according to Baltimore Fire officials. Firefighters are reportedly still on the scene battling the fire in the two-story home and have requested additional units. Belvedere Avenue has been shut down as the fire is contained. Senior Living Apartment Fire In Baltimore County Sends One To Hospital An apartment fire at a senior living apartment in Baltimore County has sent one person to the hospital, authorities say. Firefighters responded to the scene on Clay Lodge Lane in Catonsville where they discovered the fire in a third-floor apartment shortly before 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 23, according to Baltimore County Fire officials. The fire was controlled by 9:45 a.m., officials say. The person inside of the apartment was evaluated by medics and transported to a hospital with reported burn injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

'Princess Plaza' Bust: Several Arrested In Connection To Violent Crimes Throughout Baltimore Several members of the Princess Plaza social network were arrested after a two-month long investigation, authorities say. The investigation was a targeted enforcement initiative of the Group Violence Reduction Strategy and resulted in charges for 12 members, including two teenage boys, according to Baltimore police. Three Men Found Convicted Of Double Homicide In Maryland: State's Attorney Two people were found guilty on dozens of charges related to a 2019 double homicide in Baltimore and may spend the rest of their life behind bars, authorities say. Kiray Walker and Malik Brooks faced the charges after the murders of Aryanna James and Courtney Richardson on Nov. 14, 2019. Pradeline Delinois was found unresponsive in the 5100 block of Cumberland Street on Aug. 18, according to Prince George's County police. Repeat Offender Busted After Hardware Store Theft In Maryland, Police Say A Temple Hills man has been charged in connection to the strong-armed robbery of a hardware store employee in Montgomery County, authorities say.
