Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

Unresponsive Man Found On Baltimore Street ID'd, Cause Of Death Revealed Police have identified the unresponsive man found on a Baltimore street earlier this week, authorities say. Darius Jones, 26, was found unresponsive on the 800 block of Bradhurst Road shortly after 7 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 11, according to Baltimore police. Upon medic arrival, Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.  Jones's body was taken to the Medical Examiner's office where they found a fatal gunshot wound.  Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.

Shooting Suspect Charged With Murdering 33-Year-Old Man In Maryland A Baltimore man has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting last month, authorities say. Rakim Muhammad Jr., 20, was arrested Thursday, Aug. 4, after allegedly shooting Earnest Jackson, 33, on Tuesday, July 26, in the 3200 block of Fenwick Avenue, according to Baltimore police. Jackson was found suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso around 10:41 p.m. that July night, and was rushed to the hospital. police said. He was pronounced dead a short time later. Muhammad Jr. has been charged with first- and second-degree murder.
