Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Two Teens Check Themselves Into Hospital With Gunshot Wounds After Mysterious Shooting: Police Two teenage boys are recovering after being shot in Baltimore, authorities say. The teens, ages 17 and 14, checked themselves into an area hospital seeking treatment for apparent gunshot wounds around 3:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 8, according to Baltimore police. Both boys sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting. It is unknown at this time where, when, or what the movie behind the shooting was. Suspect At Large After Fatally Shooting Woman In Maryland: Police Police are investigating a fatal double shooting that left one woman dead in Upper Marlboro, authorities say. A man and woman were found suffering from gunshot wounds in the 12500 block of Woodstock Drive E around 10:15 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 8, according to Prince George's County police. Man Stabbed By Pair Of Strangers Outside Maryland Elementary School: Police An unidentified suspect is on the run after allegedly stabbing a stranger near a Severn elementary school, authorities say. Man Arrested After Stabbing Minor Outside Glen Burnie Mall Police have arrested a man who stabbed a juvenile during a fight outside of the Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie, authorities say. David Knuckey, 21, was allegedly arguing with a group of juveniles in the 7900 block of Ritchie Highway, when he took out a knife around 8:15 p.m., Monday, Aug. 8, according to Anne Arundel County police. Investigators determined that Knuckey then stabbed one of the juveniles, who fled to a local hospital for treatment. Knuckey fled the scene on foot and was arrested a short time later. Charges against him are pending.

Missing Maryland Child, Grandmother Found Nearly A Week After Disappearance A Maryland grandmother and her grandson who went missing after the storms last week have been located, authorities say. As previously reported by Daily Voice, Marthann and Ashton Davis were last seen leaving the 1100 block of Ramblewood Road at approximately 6:40 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 4, according to Baltimore police. Both were located in Anne Arundel County around 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 9, police say. Marthann and Ashton Davis have been transported to an area hospital for treatment and evaluation.

Vandal Charged In Connection To Anti-Semitic Graffiti Spray-Painted In Maryland Police have arrested a man in connection to recent antisemitic vandalism in Pikesville, authorities say.
