Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Two Teens Check Themselves Into Hospital With Gunshot Wounds After Mysterious Shooting: Police Two teenage boys are recovering after being shot in Baltimore, authorities say. The teens, ages 17 and 14, checked themselves into an area hospital seeking treatment for apparent gunshot wounds around 3:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 8, according to Baltimore police. Both boys sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting. Man Arrested After Stabbing Minor Outside Glen Burnie Mall Police have arrested a man who stabbed a juvenile during a fight outside of the Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie, authorities say. David Knuckey, 21, was allegedly arguing with a group of juveniles in the 7900 block of Ritchie Highway, when he took out a knife around 8:15 p.m., Monday, Aug. 8, according to Anne Arundel County police. Investigators determined that Knuckey then stabbed one of the juveniles, who fled to a local hospital for treatment. Knuckey fled the scene on foot and was arrested a short time later. Charges against him are pending.
