Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Maryland Man Admits To Possessing Fentanyl, Other Drugs, Weapons In A School Zone: DOJ A Baltimore trafficker has pleaded guilty to a federal drug charge and for illegal possession of a firearm in a school zone, authorities say. $10.8M Highway Construction Expansion Project To Begin In Ellicott City A $10.8 million roadway-widening project in Ellicott City will begin this week, officials say. The project will widen MD 103 between US 29 and Long Gate Parkway, adding a third lane on MD 103 for motorists wishing to access northbound U.S. 29, according to the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration. A recent Maryland high school graduate has won first place in the student poster competition at the NASA Exploration Science Forum, according to officials. Man Dies After Being Shot In Head During Baltimore Attack, Police Say A man has died after being shot in the head in a Baltimore shooting, authorities say. The 27-year-old man was found suffering gunshot wounds to the head in the 2400 block of Kermit Court shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Monday, August 1, according to Baltimore police. The victim - whose name has not been released - was rushed to Shock Trauma where he later succumbed to his injuries, officials said. Police Seek Answers After Toddler Is Found Roaming Baltimore Neighborhood Police are looking for the parents or guardians of a young girl who was found roaming a Baltimore neighborhood, authorities say. The toddler, whose name may be "Zara", was found unattended in the 800 block of Saratoga Street on the morning of Tuesday, August 2, according to Baltimore Police.
