Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Two Dead After Mass Shooting In Baltimore Two men have died after a mass shooting in Baltimore, authorities say. Officers responded to the area of North Rosedale Street at West North Avenue for reports of the shooting around 10:35 a.m., Friday, July 29, according to Baltimore police. Man Dies From Complications More Than 50 Years After Baltimore Shooting The death of a 74-year-old man has been revealed to be caused by complications stemming from a Baltimore shooting in 1966, authorities say. An autopsy was performed after the Oct. 21, 2021 death of Samuel Lee Bent, where doctors ruled the death a homicide, according to Baltimore police. Mr. Bent was left paralyzed after the shooting. Maryland Drug Dealer With 'Enough Fentanyl To Kill More Than Two Million People' Sentenced A Baltimore man has been sentenced to federal prison after possessing enough fentanyl to kill more than two million people, federal officials announced. Rajeim Ali Bradshaw, 49, was sentenced on Friday, July 29 after pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute large quantities of fentanyl and heroin, according to the Department of Justice.
