Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Dead Man Found In Vehicle Following Rosedale Car Fire Near Railroad Tracks A man was found dead in a vehicle that had caught fire just off of a set of railroad tracks in Rosedale, authorities say. Officials arrived to find the vehicle fully engulfed in flames after a report of smoke in the 8500 block of Contractors Road, near the CSX Railroad Crossing at 7:50 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, according to Baltimore County police. Crews extinguished the fire and found the victim in the driver's seat of the vehicle. The investigation of the circumstances surrounding the fire is ongoing.

Child Escapes Massive Poolesville House Fire Uninjured, Home Destroyed: Officials A 12-year-old child is safe after a fire engulfed a Poolesville house while they were home alone, authorities say. The fire allegedly started in the kitchen of the residence at 16205 Edwards Ferry Road in the early afternoon of Wednesday, July 27, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue.
