Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Dead Man Found In Vehicle Following Rosedale Car Fire Near Railroad Tracks A man was found dead in a vehicle that had caught fire just off of a set of railroad tracks in Rosedale, authorities say. Officials arrived to find the vehicle fully engulfed in flames after a report of smoke in the 8500 block of Contractors Road, near the CSX Railroad Crossing at 7:50 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, according to Baltimore County police. Crews extinguished the fire and found the victim in the driver's seat of the vehicle. The investigation of the circumstances surrounding the fire is ongoing.

Suspects At Large After Armed Robbery, Tying Up Maryland Gas Station Employee: Police Images have been released of two men who allegedly tied up and robbed a gas station employee at gunpoint in Gaithersburg, authorities say. Baltimore Attempted Murder Suspect Busted With Handgun, Jugs Of Suspected Crack Cocaine: PD An attempted murder suspect has been arrested while in possession of a gun and drugs, authorities say. Nathaniel Hope, 41, was taken into custody around 9:45 a.m., Tuesday, July 26 in the 1300 block of Division Street, according to Baltimore police. Hope was allegedly identified as a suspect in an attempted murder on the same street on Monday, July 18, police said. He is accused of shooting at the victim, but was not successful in hitting him. Child Escapes Massive Poolesville House Fire Uninjured, Home Destroyed: Officials A 12-year-old child is safe after a fire engulfed a Poolesville house while they were home alone, authorities say. The fire allegedly started in the kitchen of the residence at 16205 Edwards Ferry Road in the early afternoon of Wednesday, July 27, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue. The bulk of the fire has since been extinguished, officials said, but the home was reportedly declared a total loss. The 12-year-old was able to escape the home uninjured.
