Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Woman Airlifted, Teens Injured In Single-Vehicle Maryland Crash With Power Pole: Report Six people, including five teenagers, were seriously injured after a vehicle crashed into a power pole in Prince George's County, reports WUSA 9.  The crash occurred around 11:20 p.m., Thursday, July 21 on Laurel Bowie Road at Cherry Lane, the outlet continues. Two of the occupants are suffering from life-threatening injuries, with a 28-year-old woman being airlifted to a hospital for treatment. One Killed In Baltimore Highway Motorcycle Crash: Police A man is dead after a morning motorcycle crash on a Baltimore City highway, authorities say. The 49-year-old victim was reportedly laying on the street in the 2900 block of Edison Highway around 2 a.m., Friday, July 22, according to Baltimore City police. Initial investigation revealed the man - whose name was not released by investigators - was riding north on the highway when he struck the raised median, causing him to lose control of the motorcycle and crash into a parked cargo van.  Medics transported the victim to a hospital where he later was pronounced dead.

Missing 27-Year-Old Maryland Man Found Dead The search for a missing man in Montgomery County ended tragically when he was found dead. As previously reported by Daily Voice, Tyrell Jamaal Grice, 27, was last seen in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 17 in the 4900 block of McCall Street.
